Skippable advertisements, sponsored segments, and native integrations like creator mentions are generally perceived as less invasive than unskippable interruptions. If unskippable ads are necessary, they should be limited to six seconds or less, with the first one to three seconds designed to deliver an engaging hook that captures attention immediately. These practices demonstrate respect for the viewer’s time and sense of control.
